Planning for Kurdistan Region, what Projects have been missed?

With all achievements done in Kurdistan Region during the past years, what do you think it has been missed.

I can say with confidence, there are still many strategic projects that have not had the right opportunity to implement in this region, and will give Kurdistan region a quantum leap forward.

Transportation Sector

1- Kurdistan Railway Network

• Increase the transportation exchange capacity between boarders and main cities.

• Build a new, safe, and cheap mean of personal transport between the main cities.

• Decrease the car traffic accidents, and decrease the environmental pollution.

• Kurdistan region will not step dramatically forward without proper transportation network.

• Encourage the Mega companies to start investment in the region.

2- City Tram-Train Network

• Decrease the traffic jam and congestions inside the cites.

• Decrease the transportation cost.

• Build and new work opportunity and new terminals shoppings.

• Decreasing the parking problems in the city center and crowded areas.

3- Zakho-Erbil-Sulaymaniyah Highway

• This project, in my perspective, was to be completed long time ago, specifically after 2003, since it is one of the important infra structures for Kurdistan region.

• Decrease dramatically the traffic congestions and accidents on exist roads.

• Decrease the transportation ease and cost.

• Build and new work opportunity through many facilities on the highway.Decreasing traveling time and all affiliated costs.

Do you think I missed any transportation major project? although there are too many medium and small project still remains to be mentioned.
